Alumni Corner
Class of 2020 Alumni, Brayden Gruszewski stopped by to say hi. He is currently working at Shaws Supermarket in the Deli Department up in North Conway. He is also working on his selfcare through martial arts and is currently an orange belt. It was great to see him!
Senior/early graduate Gavin Anderson visited us. He wanted to share that he completed a 240 hour course in Texas to get a certificate in Advanced Farrier Science! He now plans on working under Farrier, Logan Mason from Farmington. What a great accomplishment!
Alumni, Cory Harrison stopped by this week. He is currently in the process of joining the airforce to become a propulsion specialist. He also started his own small detailing business. Cory shared that his experience at LRTC has attributed so his success in both ventures. We wish him the best of luck with his new adventure.
Caitlyn Carroll an alumni from 2024 and Health Science and Nursing Program came to visit. She is currently attending Great Bay Community College. Caitlyn is studying Veterinary Technology and loving it! It was great catching up with her and we wish much success in the veterinary field.
This week we had a visit from Paul Costello and Wyatt Monroe! Paul graduated 2 yrs ago from our Precision Manufacturing Program. He is now applying to work for the NH DOT! We are rooting for him. Wyatt graduated early this January and is a full time cogger for Pine River Forestry. It was great to see them both.
Camren Cardinal class of '23 visited LRTC and his old Agricultural Science Program today. He is currently working for Farmington Highway Department, running heavy equipment and driving plow trucks for the municipality. He is also currently working on getting his CDL. Cam is still running 03 Trapping LLC as well. We wish him luck and are very proud of him following his career goals.
Orion Grupp graduated class of '24 stopped by today. He is currently working for Lovering Tree Care as a groundsman. He has been learning a lot about climbing, saw work, knot tying, rigging and chipper operation. It was great to see him so happy with his new career!
Marcus Williams, class of 2024, stopped by to catch up. He has started his career pathway at The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. He is currently becoming a certified welder. Marcus if very happy with his new position and is learning a lot.
Two DECA Alumni came by to help prepare our students for the state competitions coming up! Tommy Giessler and Ryan Harrington are both attending PSU. Ryan is majoring in strategic marketing with a minor in professional sales and digital marketing. Tommy is also majoring in marketing with a minor in sales. They are both part of the PSU Marketing Association Program (MAPS). It was great to hear how well they are both doing. Tommy is a junior and Ryan is a senior and is looking forward to graduating this spring!
Alumni David Lehmann visited this week. He is currently attending Indiana University and studying finance. He has joined Kappa Delta Rho. We enjoyed catching up with David and look forward to future visits.
Alumni Madison Fifield stopped by to purchase a few wreaths with her sister and son. Maddie graduated from our Agricultural Science program in the spring of 2024. She has turned her love for animals into a thriving career as a dedicated dog groomer. Glad to see she is doing so well.
We had a nice visit from Kassie Tinker class of 2023 Marketing Education and DECA member. She is currently a sophomore at USM studying Art and Entrepreneurship with a focus in ceramics. It was great catching up with her!
Lexi Garland class of 2017 Ag Science stopped by for a visit with her newborn! Lexi is a proud mom of three Evelyn 5yrs, Levi 3 yrs and Magnolia 1 month. She worked for the city of Rochester doing water/sewer work as well as driving dump trucks and other vehicles with her CDL. Though she loved her job she has decided to take some time off to raise her three beautiful kids. What a pleasure it was to see her and meet Magnolia!
This week we had two alumni stop by to visit. Kaelin Akmon graduated last year from our Marketing program and is now working at the Naval Shipyard in welding. Lucas Dargis also graduated last year from our Automotive program. He is currently attending Pennsylvania College of Technology and studying Aviation Maintenance. It was great to see them both!
Alumni Sarah St. Jean stopped by today! She completed our Agricultural Science program in the spring of 2024. She is currently working for Corey Hunter at The Village Green doing landscaping and gardening. So great to see her.
We were so happy to get a visit from Troy Dow. He is an alumni of our Marketing program and DECA. Troy came to visit while on break from the University of Utah, where he is studying Business Administration. It was great to see him!
Shiloh Ellis completed LRTC's Agricultural program in the spring of '23. He is now working on his ELO at PMHS at the T. L. Storer Reservation. Please see full story in article attached.
